Biographical Sketch

Kimberly McAlister is an assistant professor in the College of Education. She has nine years of teaching mathematics before joining NSU in 1999. Her teaching interests include math education, teacher efficacy, testing and measurement and teacher preparation. Dr. McAlister's teaching philosophy is rooted in establishing an environment where learning flourishes. She is passionate concerning the teaching profession and strives to infuse that enthusiasm in modeling to students.
